Ferrugem is the busiest of the beaches of Garopaba, both during the day and at night, with several lodging options, restaurants and bars. Its beach has crystal clear waters and waves propitious for surfing all year long. The north corner of the beach is crowded, once you can find there good waves; it has trees by the sea that provide a shade all the way through the afternoon. There is also a very traditional bar in the area, which offers snacks, drinks and bathrooms.
